Thanassis Cambanis is the author of A Privilege to Die: Inside Hezbollah's Legions and their Endless War Against Israel. He writes for The Boston Globe and The Atlantic and is a regular contributor to The New York Times. He is currently working on a book about the Egyptian revolution.
