A U.S. Air Force B-2 stealth bomber made an emergency landing at Colorado Springs Airport on Tuesday morning, NBC News affiliate KOAA News reports.

A U.S. Air Force B-2 stealth bomber made an emergency landing at Colorado Springs Airport on Tuesday morning, NBC News affiliate KOAA News reports.

- The 21st Space Wing at Peterson Air Force Base confirmed that the bomber, based out of Whiteman Air Force Base in Missouri, was met by first responders just after 4 AM on Tuesday.

- All members of the flight crew are safe, per the Colorado Springs Gazette, although the Air Force did not detail how many were on board at the time of the incident.

- The cause of the landing is under investigation, but the 21st Space Wing characterized the landing as a response to an in-flight emergency, KOAA reports.
