The Oil War Is the Next Grave Risk to America

In order to guarantee American energy and economic security and preserve the U.S. national security agenda, policymakers should be wary of Saudi Arabia, an unreliable ally led by a prince with a questionable track record.

In order to minimize risk and hedge its bets, the White House should seek to diversify its energy supplies in terms of source and location, even if it means departing from the status quo.

After all, the best way to survive and even thrive in the fast-paced, uncertain world of international energy markets is to stay nimble and flexible. The American way of life depends on it.
