Kamala Harris Is Joe Biden's Biggest Mistake
The Biden Administration has presided over a turgid economy defined by high inflation, stratospheric interest rates, massive government printing and spending of money, bank bailouts, and a bevy of other policies that have led to the stymying of the American juggernaut. Kamala Harris is a big part of those mistakes.
It is obvious to anyone outside of the Democratic Party that Kamala Harris was a terrible choice for the Biden ticket in 2024.
Kamala Harris is Proof of Biden’s Failure of Judgment – President Joe Biden is the oldest leader of the United States in history. He is also the oldest man to run for reelection. Should Biden win his reelection campaign, he will be 82 when he’s sworn in.
The average life expectancy for American men is 77 years of age—the exact age that Biden’s likely Republican opponent, former President Donald J. Trump, currently is.
Thus, the running-mates of these two candidates will be important to voters. Notably, Biden’s running-mate will be key to the outcome of his campaign.
This is why Biden’s decision to keep his unpopular vice president, Kamala Harris, on as his running-mate in 2024 is perplexing.
On the one hand, Biden will make the case that his are the steady hands that will guide the United States during this transition decade.
Then again, Biden’s opponent will counter that the forty-sixth president has been anything but steady.
Joe Biden’s American Carnage
The Biden Administration has presided over a turgid economy defined by high inflation, stratospheric interest rates, massive government printing and spending of money, bank bailouts, and a bevy of other policies that have led to the stymying of the American juggernaut.
There’s also a grave challenge to American power abroad, led by China, that will determine whether the United States remains the global superpower or not (under Biden, this isn’t looking good). Don’t forget about the border crisis, too.
All these crises were either worsened, or created, by Joe Biden.
Americans intuitively understand this. Whether that is enough to detract them from voting for Biden—especially if the controversial Trump is the only alternative to Biden in 2024—remains to be seen.
One thing is sure; however, Kamala Harris is not a strength for Biden going into what will be a contentious presidential election.
Kamala Harris a Failure
Harris is deeply unpopular.
She does not play well with African-American male voters.
She tends to turn off most other voters, too, because she is perceived as being ineffective as a policymaker.
What’s more, Harris has a bizarre affect in public, only adding to her woes.
Harris’ real-life performance since getting tapped by Biden to be his running-mate in 2020 is a far cry from the hype that surrounded her before she was named as Biden’s number two.
Back then, Harris was dubbed as the smooth-talking, competent, ready-to-takeover from Biden sidekick.
In reality, she’s a burden to Biden. Her negatives are almost as bad as Biden’s. And while traditionally vice presidents do not have much of an impact on the election, Biden’s advanced age and his obvious cognitive decline mean that Kamala Harris’ role will matter for most voters.
It is obvious to anyone outside of the Democratic Party that Kamala Harris was a terrible choice for the Biden ticket in 2024. She has failed to deliver on anything she’s been assigned. It’s another failure of judgment on the part of Biden that he failed to recognize how bad for his reelection chances that Kamala Harris was.
Harris Represents Another Biden Failure of Judgment
Any other leader would have identified that she had to be taken off the ticket and would have replaced her early on, without so much as breaking a sweat.
Harris’ presence is a continual reminder of the abject failure that is Joe Biden’s presidency.
American voters will care more about her presence on the ticket than they ordinarily would because Biden is so old and clearly declining.
With America doing so poorly under Biden’s leadership, it would not take much to convince enough voters to look elsewhere after having experienced the failed leadership of Biden-Harris.
Biden was a fool for keeping her on the ticket. He’ll pay the price for it at the ballot box.
