A New Technological Cold War?

The Center for the National Interest held a panel on Great Power Technology Competition. The panel featured Paul Heer, George Beebe, and Robert Atkinson and was moderated by Paul J. Saunders.

Technology has emerged as a central front in competition among the United States and its two principal geopolitical rivals, China and Russia. From 5G communications to artificial intelligence, quantum computing, autonomous weapons, and clean energy, new and emerging technologies can provide considerable strategic and economic opportunities while reshaping societies and relations among states.

The Center for the National Interest's series on Great Power Technology Competition addresses these critical issues. This session features panelists Paul Heer, George Beebe, and Robert Atkinson and is moderated by Paul J. Saunders.
