The Trouble with Confronting Rogue States
If America’s experiences in dealing with Afghanistan, Iraq, Libya and others have proven anything, it is that rogue states can play their game all day long.
Unless the national interest is at stake, the case for placing the “bad boys” at the center of American foreign policy is a thin one indeed.
