At a time when the Kashmir crisis simmers, a potential military conflict between India and Pakistan has the propensity to escalate further. As Herman Kahn said in his seminal book On Escalation, it’s difficult for anyone to know what might take a crisis to the next level and potential miscalculations cannot be ruled out during an Indo-Pak crisis.
