Malcolm Cook

Malcolm Cook is a Senior Fellow at the Institute of Southeast Asian Studies in Singapore. From 2003 to 2010, he was the inaugural East Asia Program Director at the Lowy Institute where he remains a non-resident fellow. He left the Institute in 2010 to become the inaugural Dean of the School of International Studies at Flinders University in Adelaide.

Malcolm completed a PhD in international relations from the Australian National University, and holds an MA in international relations from the International University of Japan and an honours degree from McGill University in Canada.
