William F. Wechsler

William F. Wechsler, director of the Atlantic Council’s Rafik Hariri Center and Middle East Programs, coordinated several noncombatant evacuation operations as NSC director for transnational threats under President Bill Clinton and was most recently Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Special Operations and Combatting Terrorism under President Obama.
