Who Will Control the U.S. Senate? Watch These Key Races Tonight.

There are nearly a dozen races in predominantly GOP-led states with seething Senate contests including in Georgia, Iowa and South Carolina.

Texas:

In perhaps the least suspenseful race on the list, Sen. John Cornyn (R) is battling MJ Hegar (D).

The Cook Political Report projects a leaning Republican vote in the state, but Democrats remain hopeful that there will be a blue wave that empowers both the senate and White House races.

But Cornyn has been in the seat since 2002 and holds a comfortable edge in the polls, but with the growing uncertainty with the state’s votes flipping blue for Biden, the senate race remains unknown.

There are several more tight senate races in this year’s election, with the ultimate results fueled with uncertainty as several traditionally red states have made the battleground state list in one of the most enthusiastic elections in modern American history.
