Should South Korea Participate in China's Belt and Road?
The costs involve more than money.
In conclusion, the reward of the participation is very uncertain and the opportunity cost is very high. South Korea doesn’t need to participate in this initiative. South Korea needs to look over its potential participation in the initiative with clear eyes so it can accurately estimate what the opportunity cost is for the South Korean people.
