How to Focus on the China Challenge in the Midst of a Russian War

Make no mistake: properly organized, the United States has the capacity to handle both challenges at once.

 

The United States knows how to take on a military adversary abroad. But handling China while confronting Russia will require changes at home. It requires innate innovation and a disciplined approach to manufacturing. It requires thinking about the national security implications of each product, even those that seem purely commercial. These changes will need to be championed at the highest levels and operate in the background even when the United States is faced with other international crises. A strategy is crucial to that goal.
