China Tightens Its Grip on Central Asia
The slowdown induced by the coronavirus has certainly not dampened China’s interest in the region.
“As Central Asia grows increasingly dislocated from the rest of the world, China will amplify its core message in the region” Ozcan added. “There is no alternative to Beijing.”
