A Different Path to Peace in the Middle East

The United States can play a central role in creating a multilateral effort to bring peace to Israel and Gaza.

There is now a unique opportunity to change the course of Middle Eastern history for the better. The ultimate goal of the effort to remove Hamas should be the pursuit of a lasting and just peace. No one should be under any illusions that this will be a simple process. However, working together, all parties have much to gain. Most importantly, what they can gain is a more stable and secure Middle East. May these dark days be the dawning of a brighter future.
