Nuclear Pakistan vs. Nuclear Iran: There's No U.S. Double Standard

Washington isn’t playing favorites.

For all of these reasons, it was a rational act on the part of U.S. policymakers to consider Iran a threat, and it appears unlikely that the United States will eventually give up in its efforts to prevent Iran from getting a nuclear weapon, letting Iran become the next Pakistan.
