Kevin Blachford

Dr. Kevin Blachford is a Lecturer of Defence Studies for King's College London at the UK's Joint Services Command and Staff College. He completed his Ph.D. in 2017 and has published articles on a range of topics covering historical international relations and contemporary security issues. His interdisciplinary research aims to consider challenges to international order and historical examples of great power competition. His teaching experience also covers a range of issues, such as questions of grand strategy, critical security studies, foreign policy analysis, and international relations theory. He has previously taught at the Estonian School of Diplomacy, the Baltic Defence College, and the University of Bristol.
